I will admit, I am a little in love with this look and didn’t want to take it off to work on day 15 of the challenge. Especially since Jazz freaked out at a shadow and ripped my hand apart so it hurts to do any nail art. Day 14 of the challenge is flowers and I went with (fairly simple) advanced stamping using one of my favourite Born Pretty stamping plates and a neutral base with a holo topper.
Polishes & tools used for my advanced stamping flowers:
- Quo by Orly Runway Ready
- Revlon Transforming Effects Holographic Pearls
- Born Pretty BP-L029 stamping plate
- Born Pretty black stamping polish
- Born Pretty clear jelly stamper
- Essie Silk Watercolor in Highest Bidder
Starting with two coats of Quo by Orly in Runway Ready, a nice neutral grey that works with every skintone. Not too dark but not too light that it washes out and one of my go to greys. Topped with one light coat of Revlon’s Holographic Pearls and quick dry topcoat to smooth it out before stamping. I used the same stamping image on each nail and filled in just the large flowers with Essie’s Highest Bidder from the Silk Watercolours collection using a small brush then stamped the image on to the nail and added more top coat.
