When Colours Collide – Red, Purple & Black With No Stamping

I finally jumped on the When Colours Collide bandwagon in time for a no stamping challenge.  I am not 100% in love with my look but I guess that is part of the challenge, doing things you would not usually do.  I also could not decide what to do, so went with skittle nails and a different look using black, red and/or purple on each nail.

Pointer finger: Zoya Aurora and Blaze (holographic polishes) with Essence Black is Back applied using a vinyl guide.  The black lines on the corner lifted with the vinyl, guess Essence polishes dry too quickly but it looked ok with a corner missing so I just left it like that.

Middle finger: Zoya PixieDust in Carter and Oswin.  I recently tried a gradient with Oswin and loved it so went for a similar look with Carter.  It was already pretty chunky with layers of PixieDust so no extra black polish.

Ring finger: A gradient of Zoya Mira and Sally Hansen Red My Lips with Essence Black is Back.sponged on to one side.

When Colours Collide Red Purple Black No Stamping - Baby Finger

Baby finger: A base of Essence Black is Back with Mauve-llous Fairy from the Hidden Stories collection.  This one is cheating a little as I knew it was mostly purple with some red but did not remember the small blue and gold flecks in it.  Overall a purple look though and no different than holo in my mind!

I completely forgot to take a separate shot of my thumb, but it was a smoosh of Zoya Mira (purple creme), Zoya Blaze (red holo) and Black is Back over a base of Red My Lips.
