Pearl & Daisy Little Box of Happy Review
The Verdana soap from Pearl & Daisy contains lemon verbena and thyme and is a great fresh scent perfect for the warmer weather. It is fresh and clean smelling while still having some warmth.
The Orange Beep lip balm is made with apricot kernel oil, beeswax, and natural cocoa butter with a touch of castor oil for shine and rosehip seed oil to condition lips. It has a gentle orange scent and is super soft without melting easily in your purse.
With the upcoming move, I have been really stressed sorting and planning so I was happy to see some relaxing lavender products in my little box of happy this month. It included a lavender bath fizzer and while I do not like the strong scent of lavender as much as the vanilla orange one I previously received, it was a much needed relaxing soak and I slept great after a bedime bath.
My box also included a Highland solid lotion body balm in the same lavender scent. It glides on easily without being too greasy. The lavender scent is fairly strong but is relaxing and softens rough dry skin easily as it melts into your skin.
Pearl & Daisy’s soothing facial mask is made with lemon balm, honey, plantain, marshmallow root and oatmeal with kaolin clay. You mix a tablespoon with enough water to make a paste. The tub contains enough for 15-16 face masks so is well worth the cost. Once dry, rinse off with cool water and tone for great looking skin!
It would be nice if you could pick your favourite scents for these boxes. While lavender is far from my favourite, it was much needed this month but he hates the scent of lavender so I try not to use the body balm at bedtime.
