I have been meaning to try the bee themed stamp from my MoYou London The Pro plate for ages and when I heard about Cheerio’s Bring Back The Bees campaign, it seemed like the perfect time.

In case you haven’t noticed, Buzz, the Cheerios mascot, is missing from their latest packaging. Buzz is missing because there’s something serious going on with the world’s bees. With deteriorating bee colony health, bees everywhere have been disappearing by the millions so Cheerios and Vesey’s Seeds want to help Canada bring back the bees!
Get a free pack of wildflower seeds from Vesey’s Seeds. Plant them to help grow 35 million new flowers to help our bee population. Something that is badly needed because 1 in 3 bites of food we eat is made possible by bees and other pollinators. They help spread the pollen that crops need to grow. That includes many of our favourite foods like apples, almonds, coffee, and of course, honey. Now while I can happily drink tea over coffee, imagine a world without coffee to help the Monday morning zombies!
My Bring Back The Bees Nail Art
Polishes and tools used:
- Base on all fingers: gradient of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear White On and Hard Candy Sky
- Pointer finger: Zoya Nidhi (which is more red, but appears pink when stamping)
- Bee: Black stamping polish, Sinful Colors Let’s Meet (yellow) and Essence Who Am I? on wings
- Ring finger: Zoya Mira
- Baby finger: Maybelline Color Show Tenacious Teal
- MoYou London stamping plate The Pro 06
I stamped the bee from MoYou London’s The Pro 06 stamp with black stamping polish adding a sheer tint of Essence’s porcelain effect polish for the wings and yellow for the body while on the stamp head. I then went for flower designs and leaves from the same stamping plate for the flowers that will help bring back the bees. Make sure that the stamped polish is dry then add a coat of shiny top coat to protect your design.
Make sure you order your seeds and help bring back the bees if you have somewhere you can plant them!
So sad to see all the bees disappearing 🙁 I remember as kids we had to watch where we stepped in the grass because there were so many bees on the dandelions!! Same thing with bats growing up in the country there was always bats flying around the street lamps at night now none.
